I am sick of my cheap no good 2 way radios. Can any of you guys give me some ideas of what radios have worked well for you. I need an upgrade. Thanks

Call Precision Electronics in Centerville. Don Wood. He knows his stuff. Garmins are great GPS's, maybe the best, but, the radios are just toys.I owned 4 or 5 of there best, and they suck. Call Don, he will set you up with some long range stuff at a good price. I have talked from Bountiful to Salt air on my hand helds before, with no repeater. I use them snowmobiling, hunting, etc. Did I say that garmin sucked? They do for sure.

you probably need some sort of license to run that powerful of a radio or at least that's what i've heard. Iv also herd if you get caught without the license its carries a heavy fine.
