194, 196 Late Archery Success

Found this guy the night before and left him in his bed. Came back the next morning to foggy conditions and a ton of tracks in the snow. He wasn't in the same bed that I left him in, but we were able to turn him up about 75 yards away in a new bed. I made all the right moves and was able to seal the deal with a 17 yard shot. The rest is history. He isn't the largest buck I chased this season, but I sure like the looks of him.

Yes it sure did. I was seeing a lot of deer, both bucks and does, the first 10 days of the hunt but the weather just wasn't helping me any. I gave it two weeks until the week after Christmas and after the snow stopped. I was only there for a day and a half when I killed this guy, but the day before I bet we saw aver 100 deer with 25 of them being bucks. 4 of those 25 bucks were good bucks, all of which I would have been happy with.
