192 6/8th buck in the books, public land DIY

So i posted a video a few days back of a buck my friend had been scouting and was asking score. I guessed him at 27-28" with a gross of 180-190. well i was a little off. this weekend he went up and was tag in hand. Stalked the buck, and shot it at 400yds. He had a great hunt. well I have some harvest pics so you guys can see. I was wrong, he does have eye guards. he grossed in at 192 1/8th inches at a 25 1/8th outside spread, 23" mains and 18 4/8ths G2's.

Congrats to your buddy for getting the job done!! That is always a great accomplish to harvest a deer that you have scouted and it's even better that he is a big ol' SOB!! Congrats.

yeah the cape deal was an accident. he was shooting a 7mm mag and when it went through the opposing shoulder when it exited it exploded and split the cape up the neck. crazy exit wound for 400yds! he will look for a mature cape.

2" in deductions would be incredibly symmetrical. 4-6" is more average. His G4's alone have 1.5" in deductions. But nets are for fish anyways, so who cares...Great buck

44 45 42 40 32late season 39 early archery. Its all the same they all have good deer and all are hard to draw.

It is 44 by the way. Decent tag, hard draw odds. The thing about 44 is there are honey holes and the bucks of this class are very few and far between even if you can manage to draw
