Bess; I got rid of my F-250 with the 460 cu gas engine a long time ago.

I drive a F-250 with a 7.3 diesel, power chip for towing and oversize exhaust for better beathing and dual tanks with a total of 74 gal. of fuel. I get from 14 to 16 mpg while towing a 26 ft. RV. and can pull away on a 6% grade. That damn 460 ate gas like Dude drinks Royal Crown.
