My brother and I went up to campwood saturday to do a little archery hunting. As we were driving in to get cam set up a jackrabbit ran out and stopped at 40yards, so i grabbed my bow and let him have it. I hit him right in the shoulders and my arrown went right through, I though I missed cause it didn't fall right away. It fell and started screaming like crazy then bled out. We seen 3 deer my brother had a 40 yard shot, but a brach deflected his arrow(broke it in half) he didnt see it in the arrows flight path oh well maybe this weekend it will happen. The other 2 deer we seen we small 4x4's but they were running at about 70yards when we spotted them, and they went right into some real thick cover. Yesterday before we came home about 30 minutes before we went hiked back to camp I decided to give my varmit call a blow as soon as i stopped calling a little fox came in I shot at him at 30 yards and my arrow went about an inch over its head he was a little guy but it was kinda cool to see that happen.
Also 2 weeks ago when we went to pick up our camera i busted a yote and dropped him dead i have some pics i wil post.
