15x56 or 10x42

I agree. The 15x are great from a tripod, but wearing them around your neck like a range finder would be, I would not go bigger than the 10x42. I have the 10x42 Geovids and they work just fine.
 
I have 8x42 geovids and 15x56 swaros.

For the geos, go For sure with the 8s or 10s. My preference is 8s. The whole reason for these binos is to have them around your neck and ready to go when your deer pops up. 15s are just too big. If you want a bigger glass, buy a separate one.
 
I have Swarovski 15x56 and if only had one choice of glass this would be it. I guess I am fortunate in that I don't need a tripod for them, never have. Just used to it, I guess. I use a pair of 10x42 when I am filming. The 15's are very heavy but an easy trade off for the viewing area.
