124-1 elk ?'s

Anyone willing to chat (email preferred, [email protected]) about 124?
I'm familiar with the part that would be 101 deer, as I had that tag a few years ago. I am wondering if I should stick to what I know or look elsewhere come summer scouting/hunting?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I have the cow tag there and one in 21. I will be making a scouting trip in August to spend a week exploring both units. I will let you know what I find.

I ran down there last night and did a bit of glassing first thing this morning.
Saw some good 'lopes, deer, and 34 bulls...not one single cow.

I'll be going back in a few weeks.
I'll keep you posted.

I know a few guys that have hunted the area. They all said the same thing. Big old bulls. lots of bulls with drop-tines and drop-tines with big ol clubs
