10x42 or 10x50

I have narrowed my search down between the 10x50 are the 10x42 leica ultravids. I was just wanting to know what everybody is running. I like the weight of the 42s but I think the 50s were optically better. I do allot of bowhunting for elk in the mountains and treestanding whitetails, ground blind for antelope. The weight is a issue for 2 weeks a year and willing to give up 9 ounces for 10-15 minutes of veiwing. What would be everybodys choice.
