102 Ram

Does anyone have a picture they could share of the ram that was taken this last year in 102?

I didn't know they had a tag for sheep in 102. Goats, yes. The only sheep I saw there while hunting deer were in 101 and they are Rocky's???

It depends on which harvest report you look at. I didn't find 102 on one report, but saw it on a second.

Yea the first hunt in 102 in a long time took place last year and the hunter was one that had been deferred for military duty i believe. So when it reopened they received the first tag.

Was it a Rocky or Desert sheep?

Area 10 are rockys. The season closed after the 09/10 die off. But a person had a military deferment for the last tag that was there and the season opened again last year, so he got that tag.

Only rocky seasons this year are in 115 and 102. No seasons for 074, 091, 101, 114.

The die off in that area was tragic, given there were some great ram genetics there. That happens all too often with wild sheep!
I hope he found a good one.
