10 Days of Desert Sheep Hunting

Returned a few days back from a tough S. Nv Desert Sheep Hunt . 9 1/2 half days of leaving camp before sunup and returning well after dark. Did I mention how extreme the better part of this unit is !!! Hunting the past 10 days found no other sheep hunters and no sign of any where we tracked most days. Over 80 rams viewed 5-10 yrs of age and many other younger rams. Sheep are doing great in this unit because of limited access and closed hunt areas ? If applying in this unit in future years be in Great Condition for best results. My client harvested this Great Looking ram after waiting near 30 yrs to draw a resident Nv Desert Sheep Tag, Congratulations to Craig for being mentally strong and in sheep hunting condition and a good marksman.All was needed to make this a great 10 days in unit 267 sheep country ...

That ram looks to have some age, which is kinda rare in many NV units. 30 years is also a long time to wait for a resident tag (dang squared pts.), but I'm guessin, the hunter is more than pleased with the beautiful ram. Well done.
