LAST EDITED ON Oct-26-10 AT 10:36PM (MST)[p]After a long hike in the rain/snow we were able to connect on this buck just after the snow started Saturday evening. We left the house at 0600, started hiking at 1100, got tents set up by 1400, started glassing by 1500, snow started at 1630, buck down at 1645, back in camp by 2030, hiked out the next morning, and home that evening by 1800. A hunt to remember!!

The small tent is a tent made by Eureka. It held up to the wind, rain and snow better than I expected but I probably would go with one just a bit bigger to fit your gear in. This tent is pretty small and doesn't have enough room to really sit up in at all. I bought it for this trip because it was light 2.8 lbs. but I would rather pack an extra 2 lbs. and have the extra room to get out of the weather, and keep my stuff dry. The other tent is a Hilleburg and was perfect. They are spendy but well worth it. In the picture it looks a bit bigger than it really is with the rain fly and vestibule set up.
