Yes, its very flammable. Here at casa de bluhair, it’s green now and going to seed now. The deer are seeking it out but will quit in a week or two. From then on cheatgrass is useless and a nuisance. I have no idea why they eat it - they literally have everything else they would want to eat...

I’ve never seen them hungry enough to eat the dead stuff either. They eat it like candy when it’s green.
