IDFG has posted no July 10 date for results...not in their regs or their website. They used to...but not anymore. Lot of factors would suggest it will be this week. If they don't post until the 14th...there had to be a series of catastrophic events.

I know 3 people with remote jobs from WA state who have done just that...they skip the winter part though. I've not personally looked at residency requirements, but these 3 are R's of WY for hunting and tax purposes...and they do not spend winters any where near wyoming.

Why is the 15 point person entitled to a couple hunts? If they have 15 points they can use them to get a tag in a 2-3 point unit...or a 10 point unit...I don't see why they should be entitled to multiple hunts in consecutive years.

I don't oppose the targeted reduction in 14/slate cr. I think given the lack of detection elsewhere - keeping densities as low as possible is warranted. If/as it spreads across Idaho - I likely would not support efforts to reduce populations on a region/statewide basis.

Understood. My statement was much broader than the specific legislation...there is a lot of benefit to state-tribal cooperation, and I've seen nothing but a clown show from WY officials/Gov office on working effectively with Tribes post-Hererra. Maybe they've done some good, but I've not seen it.
