Thanks guys! That’s good info. Yeah I’ve checked out the east side of thousand lakes and didn’t find much sign and it seemed like poor elk habitat (overgrown with conifers, little grass). I’ll be down there a lot and don’t mind hiking all over the place in some steep country

Can anyone point me in the right direction for this hunt? I’ve been elk hunting OTC in Utah for a few years, but I figured I wanted to go on a LE elk hunt eventually (like 10-15 years) so I finally put in for the first time this year… and then I drew! I couldn’t believe it. I never win anything...
