He definitely ain't a conservative. He might be the lesser of 3 evils? Who knows maybe he's changed his lousy positions for the better. If so I welcome it but I have a hard time believing Mitch would let anyone take his spot that he wasn't aligned with or some backroom deal wasn't worked out.
 
So why in the hell does it take 8 days to count ballots? One CA district only has 62% of the votes counted. Come on!!!!

Side note… Alina Habba is being mentioned for press secretary. I wouldn’t mind looking at her everyday!

Heads are exploding over the Hegseth pick and it's pissing off all the right people. I think it's fantastic.

I mean we could continue with Spy Balloons flying over our military bases unmolested, disastrous withdrawals, recruitment crisis, Russia & Iran on the warpath, Iranian terrorist groups running rampant in the Middle East and the military turning into a social experiment. The pentagon hasn't passed their last 6 audits and can't account for $4 trillion, apparently it's no problem.

Anyone Remember when Defense Secretary Austin went missing in the hospital for 3 days and no one even knew he was gone... and he didn't tell anyone. We could get another DOD insider or we can get an outsider. Ulysses S Grant was 37 yrs old with no prior government experience when he became the Secretary of War. Pete is 44 yrs old.

Yup Hegseth will be fine.
 
The Democrats……. to a person insisted they wanted younger people running the country. Well, they are getting what the wanted……… so far the list of Trump appointees meets that criteria nearly to a man/woman. Funny……. not a Democrat has thanked Trump for giving them what they said they wanted.

Now, we’ll all get to see if it’s really an age or our problem solving methodologies that pisses the Democrats off. How you betting?

I suspect Trump has a special place he’s going to assign Gabbard to. I hope Trump gives her full power to uncovering the nonsense the Democrats have been pulling on their members…. that keeps common sense people, like her, from a fair and honest nomination process. Along with other election integrity issues. She’ll go at it with her ears pinned back.
 
I love Tulsi....but....she was a dem 6 months ago...no one has ever been more fuuucked by dems.....let Trump decide when she is fully vetted....

Except General of all the Union armies and had just won the civil war.

I love Grant. I wish we could have more like him these days. There were the scandals in his administration, but the reading I’ve done I think he was an honorable man and a true American hero. But for Grant, we may be two separate nations today.

But I digress…no Lincolns or Grants are walking through that door any time soon.

Too soon to tell V………… who or if there are any Washington’s Lincoln’s, Grant’s or Reagan’s amongst us…… only the future generations know who are and who aren’t.

She’s probably no more or less likely to stab us than a lot of the republicans.

Like Eel said, you can bet a few secret meetings taking place. The old establishment won’t be easy to take down.
