29.5 Wide CO Leftover Buck

Got a leftover tag and shot my best buck to date. Glassed him up one evening from 2 miles away. Found him the next morning and after being prone in my gun for an hour and a half I decided to take a dicey shot. He was wider than his ears but didn't realize his ear to ear spread was 26.

26" ears are Prince Charles quality ears. I think I would have underestimated him as well, but still popped him. Congrats!
