Idaho's First Wildlife Bridge

I seen a couple on 80 in Nevada. I don't recall them being there recently, but then again, it seems I'm driving through during the night and may not have noticed them prior.

Ton of deer get hit in that spot. They keep a running Talley on the side of the road. That bridge was really needed but I’m sure there’s still high rates of collisions there

It’s a start
Yes.
There are more of these over and under passes around than people realize.

In Utah, the high fences across the Strawberry Valley have definitely helped funnel the animals to cross in specific places, but they are still crossing that dangerous highway.

I would think tunneling under highway 40 creating multiple unpasses with culverts would be more cost effective than overpasses.

That highway takes out a heck of a lot of deer.

These crossings can save a lot of deer every year that will reproduce and increase the herd size. I am all for these crossings we need about five of them in Spanish Fork Canyon leading to Price
