I was curious as to what you guys think: a younger buck or an older buck regressing? He was with the buck I shot. Thanks!

Young, without a doubt. Old bucks late in Oct with have a neck and a gray face, regressing horns or not.

Younger buck, I'd put him a 3.5 yo.

Pedicles grow with age. That buck has super thin bases.

I see what you're lookin at drwnv101... he's tall and has a little mass to him on those back tines. But I think the 2.5 year old guess is as old as he'd be. Cool thread, fun question.
