My dad (finally) drew a tag after 17 years of putting in for X5B and we are up here camping off Buckhorn Rd and haven’t seen 1 deer. Not even a doe. He’s in his 70’s & was diagnosed with lung cancer this year, so needless to say this is probably his last big hunt. Would love if we can go back home with something for him. Any insight/updates on where the heck the deer are would be great appreciated.

Also try the search function. Magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of this page if you're on your phone. Just type X5B in the first box and leave the rest alone and hit the search button. It will drag up all of the old threads about the unit

I hunted X5B this year. 19 points. I hired R&R outfitters. Killed a nice 4x4 the 2nd Saturday of the season. It was tough! Not many deer around. Saw a mountain loin and lots of coyotes. Everyone else staying in the Ramhorn Springs camp ground was killing tiny bucks.
