Howdy all, I was curious if anyone has hunted Pronghorn in unit 112 in Wyoming the last few years? I’m just trying to get a general idea of numbers and the unit. I spoke with the biologist for the unit and he mentioned to stay east of hwy 191. It will be my first Pronghorn hunt I’ve hunted elk and deer in Utah my whole life. I’m just new to Pronghorn hunting. Feel free to comment or pm me. Thanks!

Not sure what it looks like now. But it was good when I when was that area prior to the 22/23 winter. It got hit pretty hard however.

I haven't hunted 112 or been in that unit recently but have done a number of pronghorn hunts in several different units in Wyoming. Numbers could be down but it really isn't a big deal to look over 100+ pronghorn bucks in a day in many units Wyoming. Enjoy the hunt and don't get in a rush to pull the trigger.

Thank you! Made a 300 yard shot he had about 15 does with him. We saw about a dozen bucks in two days of scouting he looked the biggest to me. I’m not a seasoned pronghorn hunter so I’m not great at field judging.

Wife had the same tag this year. Only saw about 25 bucks in a day of driving across the unit including the next morning when she shot this guy. Far fewer than when I drew the tag a few years back. Only saw one other buck that was a little bigger next to the highway on public but not a place she wanted to shoot one. It’s been 20 years since she shot her last one and only 2 weeks before a total knee replacement. She’s healing up now. Spent a few days vacationing up to Jackson and back down and didn’t see 20 total antelope north of I80. Feel very fortunate to find a good buck where she was able to get to it after that bad die off.

That's a great Buck! Congrats to you and your Wife! I am banking on taking my wife next year, unsure what to do though, she had 16 points and I have 1 ( maybe put her in for one of the best units, or split and suck up a special price). Good to have options. Congrats again!
