Idaho Buck

Killed my first Idaho Buck on the opener. Any rough ideas of score? I've never killed one big enough to measure. Should have it actually scored next week by a taxidermist friend of mine. Thanks for any replies.

My guess is 174”. Or more.

The “Or more” is to give me a 50% chance to say face.

How about, when this guessing contest is over, you post his measurement. Guessing is cool but a likes to know where he went wrong. You can PM them if you’d rather not publish them to the world for endless debate about a metric tape.

I've never measured an animal in my life.

I always say.... "Is it big enough (or enough character, or whatever) to shoot, right now, and make me happy?"

That's a yes or no question, with no numbers or conditions attached. Makes things pretty simple.

As for that one, it's an easy "yes".
