What a week!!

This past week has been an absolute blast. I was able to go with some great friends on a moose hunt and he was successful in taking a yearling bull (legal on a cow tag) and was absolutely tickled. I also got to meet @ColoradoBob, what a great guy. I was able to take a decent little buck with my muzzleloader the week before. Now I got to take my youngest son on his first ever buck antelope hunt and man did he get a good one! I told him that he will hunt the rest of his life trying to out do this one!! Like i said, WHAT A WEEK!!

Great job! That's a helluva buck! Your boy looks like he couldn't be any happier! Hunting with my kids is far and away the most enjoyable time I spend in the field.

I just wanted to brag on this kid of mine a little more, opening weekend of the plains season we just couldn't put it together on the deer we were seeing. When Wednesday of last week rolled around the weather came with it, that next morning with 4" of fresh snow we decided that we would rather hunt than Trick or Treat and I'm sure glad we did. This is his first Mule Deer buck, and a great one at that!
