No, she is going to prison because she tampered with the election equipment, then lied about it. An R btw. She’s very sad that MAGA and Jesus abandoned her. She’s a loon.
“On August 12, a Mesa County jury found her guilty of three felony counts of attempting to influence a public servant, one felony count of conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation, one misdemeanor count of official misconduct, one misdemeanor count of violation of duty in elections, and one misdemeanor count of failure to comply with the secretary of state. She was acquitted on two felony counts of criminal impersonation and one count of identity theft.”
How do you like this suggestion to the court? I kinda like shipping her to CA.
“Prior to Barrett announcing his sentence, five people spoke on behalf of Peters, asking for leniency, while another five spoke in favor of the maximum penalty.
A man who introduced himself as Dave Bryan, pastor of the Church of Glad Tidings in California, suggested that the court release Peters into his custody, or the case “will become even a bigger hairball for the state of Colorado.”
“We offer a solution to you and the State of Colorado to remand her to our custody in California,” Bryan said. “It serves no purpose for Tina Peters to spend a single day in custody.”
Bryan called his proposal a “calm the storm” solution and said that “the storm is just getting started with this sentencing.””

It’s in Western Colorado, somewhat different from the Front Range. Mesa County is quite conservative.

He was appointed by Governor Polis, probably not. I’ve been following this case from the beginning, I was originally thinking Peters might have done the right thing. After reading/hearing as much about it as I could I am convinced Peters is an idiot who was a pawn. She is also a serial liar. One might ask the question why Tina Peters certified the election result as true and fair before she committed her crimes?

I guess you’ll tell us what this has to do with Tina Peters? What She did had nothing to do with mail in ballots. My personal opinion is voting should be done in person with a picture ID. This story is sorta related as it happened in the same county. Maybe they have other problems as well.

I live in Mesa County, it’s quite republican, I’ve never heard this county being hailed by leftist media. Most often the leftist journalism in this state hails us as a bunch of right wingers. Only someone who doesn’t know anything about Mesa County would think otherwise.
