-Should never be allowed to own a gun.

I’m pretty sure if this would’ve been one of my dogs there would’ve been a hell of a lot of lead flying.
The way it sounds. There probably won’t be any charges filed against the dipsh!ts for shooting this guy’s bird Dog.

That's mind blowing and there needs to be some accountability for sure.

Years ago, I had a friend and coworker who volunteered to help out with the local Junior Pheasant Hunt. Birds were planted and the youngsters were allowed to shoot them with the help of adults and the use of dogs. My friends dog jumped a pheasant and one of the kids accidentally shot and killed his dog. That was a bad deal all the way around.

Saw the same exact thing happen here on a F&G controlled Jr pheasant hunt....needless to say it put a damper on the rest of the day...

....and unfortunately it never happens to the dog that deserves it...

Firstly... how do those three individuals have jobs on TV reporting the news.?? Can barely say their names. Sheesh

Secondly, I can't believe it was mistaken identity. They meant to shoot her, but then got caught. 😡

Is it illegal to shoot a un accompanied dog on blm or national forest? Don’t know that it is.

Knew a timber company man whose job it was to patrol the tree farm and surrounding areas. He shot every dog he saw out there by itself. Said if he was seeing it out there it was probably dumped and better shot then starve.

My wife's grandfather was a government hunter in Mendocino Co., CA. He died before I ever met him but her Dad told me he had a special breed of dog (he couldn't remember the breed). If he saw a dog out on a ranch somewhere without a human around, he turned his dog loose and it would chase the feral dog down and kill it. The ranchers around there really liked him.

Glad he isn't around anymore....my dog wanders a mile radius every day....She's been rescued 3 times in the last year by my local trespassing feral dog lady....

Big problem these days in northern Cali these days with these Richard Cranium, cartel dope growers dumping their packs of pit bulls out in NF after the harvest. I saw a pack of 4 way off in the distance last year and another 5-6 of the poor bastards curled up on the side of a road trying to stay warm in a rain storm the year before.
