Not sure if this is better off in the shed hunting section or here… but was shed hunting out near ely last year and the gf wanted to check out the NP so we went up to Great Basin and on our way up the road in the park I spotted an absolute stud brown typical 4 point Muley shed literally 6-7 feet off the road, I would guesstimate to be at least a 185+ buck. We stopped in the road and gawked at it for awhile and told ourselves we would check it out on the way back down the hill, (no intentions of taking it, we know and abide by the rules) but of course it was gone by the time we were headed back. I had my suspicions it was probably planted given how many people had to be around, just wondering if this is this common practice out that way? Kinda surprised me it would’ve lasted as long as it did then seemed to disappear within moments of it being noticed..
