I saw a helicopter by quemado lake Monday or Tuesday red and black don’t know what they were doing.

I've seen this helicopter over Johnson Basin in past years. Early mornings flying the basin. They are not looking for cattle. I know who runs all the cattle in this area. This is BS.

Can fish and game fly over his property and “distribute” the elk back to public land? The animals are supposed to be property of the state, so can’t the state push them back.

Makes sense. I’ve been hunting the general area or passing through for the past 15 years. Today I saw the biggest heard I’ve almost ever seen on his property. Blew my mind! Hope justice is served.

Just so you guys know the helicopter that you see flying from sept25- oct 5 ish is game and fish doing there surveys. They fly Kiehne because that’s where all the elk are. The elk are there because of the water and very little hunting pressure. Herding elk from a helicopter doesn’t work, you can move them but you can’t “herd” them. Not saying Kiehne isn’t a jack wad but he ain’t herding elk.

No way to prove it. Let’s say he is doing it drive elk, all he was to say is he is flying his fence line or looking for stray cattle. Real no way to prove otherwise. It won’t fly in NM cartoon courts, ask me how I know!
