ChokecherryWhat r they?
chokecherries.What r they?
Yup, pretty unusual aspen. That would run my stove for about 2 weeks in the winter. We have a big old dead spruce on our place that looks kinda like that. I never thought to take a picture of it.Drove by the Pitchfork B-Ranch this morning.
Anybody but me think this is a cool old aspen.
A hard-ly used Blaze Orange SFW hat if you’re the first one to share where it’s located.

Is your Bigfoot picking his teeth or combing his hair?An artist with a chainsaw could have fun with that. I see a Bigfoot.
It’s a Leica VLux. A really easy point and shoot with a decent zoom. Easy to carry and no goofing around with lenses.@Bluehair What camera are you using? Loooking to upgrade.
That’s a hell of a zoom on that thing blue! It’s a Leica VLux. A really easy point and shoot with a decent zoom. Easy to carry and no goofing around with lenses.
I’ve found that I take more pictures if the equipment is easy to use. Here’s a fire from Sunday, with a landmark a few will recognize.View attachment 155706View attachment 155707
Ha! That’s what she saidThat’s a hell of a zoom on that thing blue!
Yup. The continuous shutter thing. It helps that I have a zillion martins buzzing around everywhere.Luck?
Love those wild vineyards.Bonus chokecherry pic for Lumpy. This is on our road in the mountains. There aren’t even enough animals to eat them up there. I’ll have to try a chokecherry rasin.View attachment 156389
I think I have some of those in the south 40? They’re about 4’ tall and the fruit is gone as soon as it turns red. So, no.Anyone make jelly out of wild Buffalo Berries or some call Bull Berries. Not as good as chokecherry syrup but pretty dang good in their own right.

That’s a mind bender………. The flowers shining brightly in the sun, the buck in the middle of the flowers and in the shade……
Here’s the ML blind pics from this morning (good ones coming of that buck when I get the camera dumped). Got washed out. Elk were on fire and we’ll get after them starting tomorrow. That’s a mind bender………. The flowers shining brightly in the sun, the buck in the middle of the flowers and in the shade……
