That bull is absolutely insane. I’ve hunted my whole life. I want one like it so bad. I can’t even tell you, but I think you know I hope to get an Elk tag again before I die. Only God knows then we’ll see what happens. Congratulations to you guys and Hunter.

It’s an incredible bull. I’m guessing the reason there isn’t a score hashtag in there is it’s a smaller framed bull. I hunted with Shane once years ago and he can take good pics

. Looks like a 340-350 bull with some awesome trash but I’d be real surprised if he broke 400. Would I shoot him?!? Hell yes! Congrats to the hunter, and to the guide crew and props to Shane for taking him out no charge. Very cool all around.

Ehhh I think you are about 30-45 inches off plus trash…. That bull goes 400+ all day. Unreal bull, seriously how they get that big in the scrubby p n j doesn’t make the most sense but they do

Idk yotebuster compare his antlers to the gun. To me he looks 400+ for sure.

It just seems like his tines are super long. I’m sure Shane takes some great pictures but that bull is still 400+ easy

Shane does take some good pics but I believe the sheds on this bull with an average width was 406 or 407 last year. Lots of extras add up quickly for sure.

Here’s my numbers. I’d love to see a final score sheet to see where I stand. Very cool bull regardless but some live pics put it into perspective. He’s definitely not over 38 wide and I’d bet some big money the beams are under 50”, well under 50”.

= 351 main frame. Im seeing 30-40” extras so I still think I’m right in there with 390” total gross. Again, I would shoot this bull in a heartbeat and think this is awesome that he guided it for free for the guy. OP asked for score, and I bet I’m close on it. Probably a reason this bull made it to shed his velvet and didn’t get shot by an auction guy. He could have come off the rez too of course. Just speculating.

Thanks for getting back! I always enjoy trying, it’s always amazing to me how if you’re off 1” on every tine, you can be off 14-20+” that quickly. Dream bull for sure.

If I’m WAY off then he’s 450+. Someone just chimed in that he’s 418, so if I’m short 1” on every point that puts me right in the ballpark.

Fair enough - based on the pictures those G1's, G2's and G3's look quite a bit longer than 13", 15" and 17" to me, but who knows. Grip & grin pictures are always hard to score from.
