Vortex Crossfire Muzzy scope

Anyone use this scope and have a review of it. Trying to decide if I want to go 1X scope or red dot.

Optics are decent. Crosshair is very thick

I have one. Used it for several years. Only complaint is the thick cross hair. It limits shot distance past 100 yards because it begins to cover too much of the body.

Yea I want something that I can use out to 200 which is my self imposed max for muzzy

I have two muzzleloaders. One is scopes for the wife. My muzzleloader now has a Williams precision sight on it. I highly recommend it over any 1X scope. Fine cross hairs and makes for extremely accurate shots

I just ordered the Williams precision sight with the 6 different reticles I'm pretty excited to try it, got a couple cheap weaver 1x scopes on my kids guns but wanted to try the Williams so I'm glad to hear good things about it

The new .019 fiber optic insert for the Williams is the way to go, IMO. Great system.
