Can anyone recommend a guide for cow elk in Sublette County, Wyo? I have a unit 92 tag and looking for someone with local knowledge to guide us for a few days.

I gotta assume the guides will be pretty busy with bull hunters during the any elk season- so hiring one then would be moderately costly.

If you are planning on hunting the last two weeks of the cow season (after the bull hunting is closed)- I'd guess a guide might come down on price. But at that point, finding a cow might be a lot easier.

You will not need a guide to kill cow elk in 92 unless you are physically unable to carry meat out on your back. Hunt the west side of unit. Climb up and glass you will see elk. If you don’t move a few miles and repeat. There are to many elk in that unit.

Not a bad area to hunt and runs into late November, not hard to find cows later in the season
