I know last year there were some absolute slammers in towns or in the arsenal. You guys seeing any giant town bucks out there? Just hoping you guys had some giants to get my heart pumping before season
Is that for real? Where is this buck at.
Yes, both are the same buck. Your pictures of him are in 2023. The new pic from coloradoman is 2024.

Yes, Just a little south.Stud Buck! Parker is right outside of Denver right?
At this point I have my doubts that you would even kill this buck if you seen him in your hunting area.JakeH Will Probably Claim I Woulda Shot This Buck When He Was A 2 Point!
Notta!
(((RAZZIN Ya JakeH!)))
Believe the tag holder harvested that deer last year and another stud. I believe unit 44 also.Anybody know anything about this buck? There’s a pic in the Colorado Governer’s Tag Buck forum from last year. The guy who posted it said unit 44 but it looks like its in some landscaping.

I agree with you, but it is funny that you said "what it it"...just saying.**saw** what it it with so many folks using "seen" in place of every tense of "saw?" Homer?
Per sideThink he’s 150 inches?
Aint saw Homer in a while.**saw** what it it with so many folks using "seen" in place of every tense of "saw?" Homer?
They killed a buck similar to that buck but not him. I know for a fact it wasn’t this buck hereBelieve the tag holder harvested that deer last year and another stud. I believe unit 44 also.
I am truly sorry that my lack of proper grammatical usage impacted your day enough to make a post about it.**saw** what it it with so many folks using "seen" in place of every tense of "saw?" Homer?
I believe that’s slingshot.Another one

Fence is too low for Texans they would struggle to adjustThe DOD/Shell nerve gas gene is strong in that feller. Some Texan is in there right now trying to figure out the best way to pull a vial of his “essence”
The prairie dogs there are 2’ tall.
Where are the pics of the ones from Rocky Flats?
This old buck looks like he's been around quite awhile.. Don't imagine he's got too many winters left..if anyAnother one

Uhh, don’t be so sure. It’s been a while since I was there, but there were prisons with smaller fences and less razor wire. It was guarded by armed soldiers also, but I’m not sure where it stands now that it’s been “ cleaned up”.Fence is too low for Texans they would struggle to adjust
Where are you driving from? The Arsenal is easy to find. Its about 5 minutes from Bass Pro Shops.I've decided I am going to drive there and look at these deer sometime. If anyone has suggestions on how to approach the place, like where to drive/park, etc and what season I should go. I can go in December/January or next summer; likely August.
Please shoot me a PM if you have thoughts. Thanks.
I need to go see this place and hopefully a buck or two in person.
Golf course neighborhood. Both bucks killed by the governor tag holder last year were neighborhood bucks, living in or near residential areas. The guides just watch until they step onto dirt they can hunt and thats the end for them.Anybody know anything about this buck? There’s a pic in the Colorado Governer’s Tag Buck forum from last year. The guy who posted it said unit 44 but it looks like its in some landscaping.

Drove it yesterday. Was on my way back from Arches NP and stayed overnight in Denver to catch a plane this morning. It's 10 minutes from the airport. It's about a 10 mile loop. Most of it is in the buffalo enclosure so you can't get out of your car. You can get out around the fishing lakes though.I've decided I am going to drive there and look at these deer sometime. Looks a little gant to me. I think it might be CWD. Maybe CO Parks and Wildlife should have me come down and cull him so they can do some testing. (I don't mind keeping the antlers for them.) Seriously, great picture of a world-class buck. Thanks for sharing.Rear view
