I made a batch of deer jerky. I marinated it in teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire sauce, pineapple juice and minced garlic for a couple of days. Then I spread it out on a cookie sheet sprinkled on seasoning salt, onion powder, and pepper. Then I smoked it in my little chief smoker with cherrywood. Going to eat some now and froze some for the hunts coming up.

Luv deer jerky! pineapple juice also has citrus acid in in that works like a tenderizer on tuffer cuts. Green papayas have the most. If you use the papaya watch the meat because it will literally melt the meat while marinade soaking.
