My boy has a muzzy Antelope tag . I have little to no muzzy experience. Anybody recommend a good load and bullet to start with ?

Antelope are very easy to kill so the bullet doesn’t make a lot of difference.

110-115 gr Bh209 and a 250-300 gr bullet in a sabot.

85 measured grains of pyrodex and a 250 grain power belt ELR.

That’s what I would use for practice if it was me just because the pyrodexis so “cheap”

I have a CVA Optima V2 50 cal LR rifle. I have used Blackhorn 84 gr by weight. With a hornady sst 250 gr. Mine shot this well under a 1 inch . I got a deal on Hornady 290 gr Bore Driver bullets. Trying out on a deer this season. I killed a buck at 200 yds with a 250 gr sst.
