Let's see your best pronghorn. I haven't hunted them in quite a few years, and have only taken one. It was a fun hunt. I should've kept buying points in Wyoming and at least done it once more.

My son's buck from that trip.

My CA 12 Goat, I believe it was plan E that I took him on, wildly smart he was. I’d passed a mid 80s super wide model, very similar to Skidmores buck there, a couple of times early in the hunt. I was all in on this buck tho there would have been no regrets no matter the outcome, it was just cool hunting him. Anyways I’ve got a darn good WY goat tag in my pocket this year, a super wide is on my mind, well see how this plays out. A lot of good times and great goats above

Wow some great post. I think I win the smallest one which is my best. I hunt different. Only with a bow for the challenge and I hunt a area that doesn't have huge goats. Here is a top tier goat for this area. Usaully goats are weak for cutters and length is weak.

And here is the thickest

Still a dink, I would have expected something better from a WY resident.
Where's yours? Any ligit all time B&C animal is in the upper echelon - as in top less than 1%. Far from a "dink". There's been some very big bucks posted on this thread, add yours.

You must be new here….. Those comments don’t have anything to do with the Goat…. Which is awesome. Some legit monsters you’ve gotten too! I wish I had appreciated Antelope a long time ago

Imagine living in Wyoming and hunting them for the last 60 years to kill 1 in the 80s. Strong work Boomer.
I've lived in Wyoming for 23 years, and I was born in 68... your math skills are on par with your pronghorn knowledge.

What unit was that Utah buck. My wife has a San Rafael north and I’m trying to figure out how to hunt it. I usually only hunt deer, but thought this would be a good hunt for my wife
Thats a super trophy area, or was. Great genetics there. My late wife took a super buck there in ‘95. Near Cedar Mountain east of Castle Dale. It was a very memorable hunt for both of us. The Hadden Hills held lots of good antelope !
You have to turn down many bucks to find the right one ☝️! Dont get discouraged, cover lots of ground, mark on your maps exacty where you see what.
Watch out for the nasty sand cactuses 🌵 everywhere. Use knee & elbow pads all the time ! Watch where you SIT too- very important 🤣🤬.
Good Hunting & Have fun- its not easy out there !

Thank you for the information. I’m getting pumped to chase them around.

Dont be afraid to get way off road ! As you know, they can be anywhere anytime!
I dive a drive way east off main road south of Cedar Mountain heading east , then way north on a BLM Road to a place called : Humbug Flats - if my memory is still correct ! I thought this is a great place to find an isolated big buck- hunted it hard, never located a mosster.
My wifes big buck we found out by a place called White Rocks right off that main BLM Road. Going East, likely 10-15 miles out east from main road turn off. It scored net 84 6/8 B/C- she was thrilled beyond belief ! Me too !
Hunt of a lifetime. 😁 Hunt hard- hunt long.
Best of Luck 🤞!

Look forward to seeing the photos & stories !
I spent an entire week by myself digging into every likely spot before my wife arrived to hunt.
Nothing big found. Then she arrived & we spent more fruitless days- no big ones found. Then we found the big one across the main road from White Rocks - boom 💥 he was easy to evaluate fast. She dropped him with one shot at 250 yards with her 243. Then I kneeled in those damn sand cactus & wow they walloped me good ! Festered for days before they festered out. It just takes one time to turn the tide !
Have fun & persevere - it can break any moment.
Happy Hunting ! 😁👏 Jerry Gold
