. Still just under 3000 general over the counter any bull tags left. However. If you want a spike general bull tag there is only 27 left.

No one can complain they couldn't get a general bull elk tag if they wanted one.

It is hard to believe with a great moon phase and the season opening on October 5th that there are still tags available.

I would bet on it. Some of the best rut action I’ve seen in the last 5 or so years has been at the very end of September into the first week or two of October.
