Why is it important to verify that it was a bullet and not a fragment of bullet or glass? I'll tell you.

Trump and some of his supporters claim that God was protecting him. If the left could show that it wasn't even a bullet but was a non-lethal fragment then they could publicly scoff and mock God, Trump and those supporters. I'm sure they are disappointed.

The truth doesn't matter- it's simply to sow doubt. Typical politics- they did what little they could to tarnish that iconic image of a wounded Trump, surrounded by SS, blood on his face, raising his fist in defiance.
