Ok, this is weird. A livestream of some rattlesnake dens. The Colorado camera has a motion detector on it so it moves around to the sneaks that are crawling around.

You should try watching it at night.

I keep waiting for a touron to wander in and fall in like they do in those thermal vents.

But somewhere out there someone gets turned on by this. Like my dear old grandpa use to tell me, “Son, there’s an asss for every seat”.

Rattlesnakes are out in full force on the Front Range of Colo this year. I'm out in the field working every day and averaging bumping into 1 to 3 rattlers/day. Also seeing quite a few bull snakes, racers, and lizards. I've been monitoring small critters with game cameras and the food that snakes and lizards feed on have increased so predators have also dramatically increased the past couple years.

That's the only milk snake I've ever seen. From what I understand, they mostly only come out at night.

I caught a Sonoran Mtn Kingsnake when I was a kid down in AZ. They have the same color pattern as the milk snake, but I’ve never seen any kind of king snake here.

I was a little spooked the first time he bit me. Had to check that coral sneak pattern about 100 times for the next hour

Went on a bike ride to a lake camping trip with a bunch of neighborhood kids back in the 80's in northern FL . The dumbass of the ' hood picked up a coral snake and put it in a gallon jug and was carrying it around showing off the " king snake" he caught. He later died of an aneurysm from huffing gas fumes from his motorbike tank. Can't fix stupid.
