Colorado Eastern Plains Muzzleloader -
5 days, 1x1 fully guided, landowner voucher and lodging. Oct 12-20. This hunt (one annually) has produced a 182” and a 184” buck two of the last 3 years. $6000. Add a rifle antelope hunt with a landowner voucher (2 available) for $2500.

Colorado Eastern Plains Archery - 5 days, 1x1 fully guided, landowner voucher and lodging. Nov 6-30 are the prime dates. $5500.

DIY South Dakota Archery - 2-3 openings, any 7 days Sept 1 - Dec 31. Very limited hunting pressure. Great velvet opportunity with the early opener. River bottoms, alfalfa, corn, wheat and cedar breaks. Outstanding country to spot and stalk in. $3200.

DIY rifle in Nebraska - 2300 acres in the Keya Paha Unit. Tags first come first serve. 2 hunters and 2 bucks. Primarily whitetails. Only hunters on the place. $4800 total.

South Dakota Lease - 3600 acres in Hughes. County. Both species. 5 buck max. $12,500 total.

To clarify a couple questions of the Eastern Plains hunts. We are willing to combine or split the muzzy mule deer and rifle antelope hunts. We have two vouchers for each mule deer and antelope. With one of the buck antelope tags being a “B” tag in Colorado, one hunter could actually hunt one mule deer and two antelope bucks. Chase mule deer morning and evening and antelope during the day.

The eastern plains of Colorado Archery Mule deer remains. This is a high end hunt for anyone looking to hunt eastern Colorado with a bow. Access to big deer and huge expanses of private ground with over 130,000 acres specific to this tag.

What size deer on the eastern plains archery hunt? Should one expect to see and get opportunity on?

During the November hunt you should see multiple 160” plus deer. We only guide one archer per year. In 2023, our archer never showed up after paying for the hunt. In 2022, an archer killed the buck pictured below in the first hour of the hunt. There were two bucks with a group of does. The larger buck walked by at 20 yards after shooting the smaller of the two. In 2021, an archer wounded a 170” type buck and we chased it for the remainder of the hunt. If you had a rifle on your hand that time of year I would say we would harvest a 175-180” type buck or better. If an archer is comfortable out to 60 yards I feel confident in getting an opportunity at a mature buck. PM me or call for more pics and information if needed.
