With 8 tags… not likely… I have but its only been for a unit with over 70 tags, plus you can draw them 4th choice… and there is a reason for that hahaMy brother didn't draw in primary and is trying in Secondary, is there much hope for him to draw? There are 8 tags available.
Have any of you been successful in the secondary draw?
like unit 29 lolWith 8 tags… not likely… I have but its only been for a unit with over 70 tags, plus you can draw them 4th choice… and there is a reason for that haha
Shhhh not my honey holes lollike unit 29 lol
Wouldn’t matter, they’d still ask. I mean CPW puts out a cool little regulation book and tons of people don’t even read it when most of their questions can be answered by studying the book. There are so many stupid post on the Facebook Colorado pages it’s scary. People literally have no idea how the draw works, how the 2nd draw works, think it’s all conspiracy that there are tags available going into the 2nd draw, etc. It’s actually quite comical.Every year the same questions pop up. Someone should probably post a thread saying the second draw is for youth only more or less, and sticky that thing so everyone can read it every year.
It’s like the first time every time.Wouldn’t matter, they’d still ask. Cpw also sends the second draw email out that says nothing about youth preference until you get down to the picture of the reg book…. Which is pretty screwed up. It should be in bold across the topEvery year the same questions pop up. It’s in the regs in bold print under the secondary drawCpw also sends the second draw email out that says nothing about youth preference until you get down to the picture of the reg book…. Which is pretty screwed up. It should be in bold across the top
Way down the email like I stated. why not put it in bold under the first couple of bullet points? It’s pretty deceptive on their part
Man we have people asking the dumbest questions all the time do you think people read the regs… I guess they deserve to lose 8 bucks on tags they will never drawI’ve never opened or read their email. But it’s in the regulations book and very easy to find.
Agree 100%. Look at my post up above about dumb questions ppl ask.Man we have people asking the dumbest questions all the time do you think people read the regs… I guess they deserve to lose 8 bucks on tags they will never draw
Best part you can probably count on the same exact question again next year.Every year it amazes me how many people don’t use the resources that Cpw puts out there with information about the secondary draw. There’s a brochure every year for the most part that is pretty clear if you take the time to read it. You can get on an email list and they’ll email you information about the secondary draw that explains it. They have a Facebook page if you’re into that, and they sent out information on their site that’s pretty clear about the secondary draw also. And not to mention their website that everybody goes on to apply for the tags in the first place has all the information you need. You just need to go look and find It. And there’s still people that get on their Facebook page or Colorado Facebook groups and ask question's and complain about the process when there’s information everywhere…. And as far as wasting your application fees as an adult applicant, when you have no chance of drawings. All you Gotta do is go and look at the past results of the secondary draw and it’s more than clear that most of the sought after tags are gonna go to youth. It’s not hard to figure out as an adult that certain units and tags you have no chance at. So if you apply for those tags and waste your application fee, it’s not CPWs fault it’s on you….… Hell some people wouldn’t be happy even if Cpw showed up at their house and did a PowerPoint in their living room… They’d still complain about something.
Yeah I don’t see a different price listed for doe tags. Appears to be $481.52 for a nr adult. Is the price of a doe tag the same as a buck tag? I was going to apply for one of the many left over doe tags in the area I drew a buck tag and then just throw it away. But as a non resident to CO, I wouldn’t buy it if it’s the same price as a buck tag.
