RIP Willie Mays

My dad took us to candlestick Park in the mid 60s. To watch San Francisco play the Montreal expos. Gaylord Perry was pitching. Willie McCovey hit two out and Willie Mays hit one out. They won the game easily. I can remember it like it was yesterday. RIP Say hey kid.🙏
 
I grew up being a huge Willie Mays fan. When I started playing little league I played center field and caught every ball with 2 taps to the mitt and a basket catch. My coaches yelled at me not to catch the ball that way, I replied that the best player to ever play the game caught the ball that way. Willie, you gave me the love I have for baseball, rest in peace.
