Didn’t I read something about a huge lithium deposit somewhere in the U.S. about six months ago?

Oh ya, it was reported nearly a year ago.

Wonder how long it will take for the media to bury this highly controversial find in Penn. I’m guessing, no more than two weeks.

A Caldera in Nevada Now Has the Most Lithium in the World. Let the Gold Rush Begin.

But mining the area is controversial.

I clicked on the link and it takes you to McDermitt, OR. and a photo of the Say When Cafe. I remember eating there when we went to Idaho deer hunting. They keep bringing food out to you until you say when. T-bone steaks way bigger than the plate they served it on. Good memories.

There was a Bar/Restaurant in McDemmitt I ate lunch in, in 1955. There was a line painted across the floor, casino on the Nevada side and food on the Oregon side. Brings back old, old memories.

Did the waitress ask you, “what don’t to want?”

China glass now covers about one million square miles of land in the US, and that cancer grows by leaps and bounds with no end in sight.

More lithium equals more China glass to charge more crappy electric cars, trucks, lawnmowers, and who knows what.

Just frack us up some good old natural carbon that we all know and love.

We headed east out of McDermitt into Nevada and then north to Idaho. We got confused in Nevada as to which dirt road to take north into Idaho, so we stopped at a ranch to ask directions. The rancher told us to forget Idaho and told us where we could kill some good bucks on his ranch, no charge, and we could even camp on his property.

After thinking about it we politely declined.
