Nope.Is there a max number of tickets or unlimited?
No on max number. I'd be happy if we sold 400.Is there a max number of tickets or unlimited?
Deer, elk, antelope.I read on Wyoming Fish and Game website there was a 2000 max tickets to be sold. Is this for an elk tag anywhere in Wyoming? Other species?

You don't have to designate the tag as soon as you get it. You don't have to designate it until you actually go hunting if that's what you want to doIt’s for deer or elk or antelope. Not for all three. And yes, you can hunt any unit on ground you have permission to hunt on.
But you do have to choose which unit and species you are going to hunt when you get the license.
There will be a maximum of 2,000 tickets for this tag. But there isn’t any way to predict how many tickets they will actually sell. This ticket is $50.00 which is cheaper than the other raffles. The others are $100 to $250 but have fewer maximum number of tickets.
So, are you feeling lucky? If they end up selling only 400 tickets then this ticket may be the best odds.
These tags at auction are going for $25,000 or more.
The winner picks the species, Elk, Deer or Antelope. The winner picks the unit. No hunting in Teton Park.I read on Wyoming Fish and Game website there was a 2000 max tickets to be sold. Is this for an elk tag anywhere in Wyoming? Other species?

Thanks for that info I will do.Put a reminder up a week or so before the banquet, I will get a couple if the draws do not shake out well.
Ok I found out that there is a max of 2000 tickets but I doubt we will sell anywhere near that many.I read on Wyoming Fish and Game website there was a 2000 max tickets to be sold. Is this for an elk tag anywhere in Wyoming? Other species?

The last 2 I saw went for $35k and $37.5K.It’s for deer or elk or antelope. Not for all three. And yes, you can hunt any unit on ground you have permission to hunt on.

20 years ago $5,000 was a lot of money...I know, it’s just amazing the prices the tags are bringing.
About 2011 I had an outfitter tell me he could get a tag for about $8,000. I didn’t do it but looking back I should have.
I think about 2003-2004 time frame they were going for $5,000. I didn’t do that one either and regret it.
Not poking at anyone but if I had 30k to waist, and was looking for a tax deduction, I would find a worthy charity that helps kids, veterans, or disabled in the outdoors.the inflation on the commissioner's tags is more than the governor's tags for sure.
last year the governor's tags avg $54K, this year $56K
last year the comm tags avg $28K, this year so far it's $39K
last year there were 72 of them, this year I think 56 so we may not be seeing them go for the $18-22k a few did last year.
several auctions have min bids in the 30s...
still it's a great tag though, and 100% tax deductible -- I'd much rather do this than pay it in taxes
the commissioner's tag I purchased this year from the WYldlife Fund funded all three of their kids camps for 2024 so I feel pretty good about it.Not poking at anyone but if I had 30k to waist, and was looking for a tax deduction, I would find a worthy charity that helps kids, veterans, or disabled in the outdoors.
It is a great cause, especially in your case.the commissioner's tag I purchased this year from the WYldlife Fund funded all three of their kids camps for 2024 so I feel pretty good about it.
Hahahaha sadly it happens! IThen you can hunt 102, with your Region W tag!
Good idea. I will do that Thanks!!!!BenHuntin
Please bring this post back to the top in late May / early June. After NM, CO, WY, NV, UT, MT results are out and people don't have a premium tag or two for this fall they may want to consider this option.
I know I will certainly throw my name in the hat if I still have some vacation time available after the draws are done.
As a former founding chairman of our local chapter and a Life Member, I fully support the RMEF and would love to help you guys out.
I don't envy people very often... you got options hahahaI just pulled a commissioners tag and trying figure out what to use it on for elk. Any suggestions?

Ya, the continental divide of questions!Big choice. Outfitter or not?
outfitter. I hunted 59 a few years ago and did well with an outfitter shooting a 380. I'm concerned with shooting the biggest bull and looking for a hunt with a great group of people since I will be by myself this time.Big choice. Outfitter or not?
Congratulations on getting a commissioner tag. Unit 59 with and outfitter and harvesting a 380 bull - that will be a hard one to top!!!outfitter. Thank you very much SDBulger. I love volunteering for the RMEFGot my lucky tickets purchased this morning. Hopefully the RMEF treats me better than the state game departments did this year - LOL. Good luck on your banquet this year!
Nobody yet. We draw the winning tickets June 29th.So who won? I didn't get the email with my tag
I will be there also My name is Julius and my name will be on my shirt. I like to meet you.Oh, I was thinking May 29th. I will try and make the banquet. I'm in Alpine.
No, nonresidents can also buy tickets. Is this for Residents only?
They should limit it to Residents.
He knows like everyone, you're just whining sarcastically.Buzz must be drinking. I said Residents, not NR.
You gotta be smarter than that.....they know where the money is coming from. They should limit it to Residents.
I know who it was, talked to him on the phone this morning.Who was the lucky winner last night?
I am in the process of contacting the winner. He lives in Colorado and is very excited he won. I think he purchased 3 raffle tickets.Who was the lucky winner last night?
About 600.How many tickets were sold?
Khunter how did Bryce find out about the Raffle? Was it on a hunting forum?I know the winner, unless more than one call went out last night in which case he won a different commiss tag. That would be fun to win for sure.
Yes. but not from posts I have seen you post without the weblink included? May be partly why only 600 tix were sold. Post the web link to buy EVERYTIME.Khunter how did Bryce find out about the Raffle? Was it on a hunting forum?
We focus on trophy elk, mule deer, antelope and moose hunts and take B&C bucks most years.
