Crazy so many 4th and 3rd season tags drawn??? Did the point creep come or something? Congrats!
We all just decided to finally apply hahaCome down I meant.

12, just the possibility of a big buck wandering through. Mostly wanted out of the point game so I can start looking for 1-2 point units to draw nowCongrats on your 4th season tag, how many points did you burn?
This was part of my reasoning on burning 23 points for Unit 55, 4th season, this year… plus, I’m almost too old to carry another deer out of the hills. Age has got to be catching up with some of the high point holders!I think you may see a jump up in points. The last year with the later dates likely nudges someone with high points to dump them now instead of using the same points only to hunt a week earlier with worse dates next year.
Dangit!Nothing. I guess it's 18 points now. Not many deer worth waiting that many years. Just saying. get my 2 sons a 3rd season hunt and it will be 2nd season draws after that.
What is insanity is that I purposefully drew a 33 3rd deer tag with 4 NR points just to PROVE TO MYSELF that it is a sh!tty unit. I hope I prove myself wrong. I'm giving it one more shot then I am done with unit 33.Didn't draw 71/711 with 14 points, insanity!!
Na, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised that your intuition was spot on lolWhat is insanity is that I purposefully drew a 33 3rd deer tag with 4 NR points just to PROVE TO MYSELF that it is a sh!tty unit. I hope I prove myself wrong. I'm giving it one more shot then I am done with unit 33.
I put in for the early season deer hunt this year as it is the earliest it has been in the past 4 years. better chance at some fuzzy antlers.Should be interesting to seen how high the application numbers were with the season changes coming for next year. I'm guessing the big point applications doubled. 71 has always been a 10-11 point NR unit.
Yikes… I guess a shitty day hunting is still better than work? What is insanity is that I purposefully drew a 33 3rd deer tag with 4 NR points just to PROVE TO MYSELF that it is a sh!tty unit. I hope I prove myself wrong. I'm giving it one more shot then I am done with unit 33.
I live in 33, but I'll be buck hunting in a different unit.Drew the 3rd season deer tag I wanted....will add an OTC elk tag to that. Now just need Wyoming deer and I'll be set.
Anyone else going to be in 33 looking for 130" slammers??
