Because some units were removed this year. That was the total for last year.Something is off on the 23 approved tags. Note the column totals.

and its been a big winter in most of the units with tag increasesIt’s a little disappointing they are proposing increases in deer tags again. I was in some of these units last year and how they are justifying more tags is beyond me. I started to have some hope last year when they reduced them in a bunch of units but so much for that.
They planning to shoot fawns?and its been a big winter in most of the units with tag increases
Not down low where it produces winter kill. Big winters in the mountains help the populations if their wintering grounds provide feed.and its been a big winter in most of the units with tag increases
I wouldn’t call it a big winter compared to the previous year.and its been a big winter in most of the units with tag increases
It was just a really good winter. Good snowpack in the upper elevations and the lower elevations are greening up nicely now.I wouldn’t call it a big winter compared to the previous year.
I think they just had the meeting yesterdayDoes anyone know where to find the approved regulations while the modification period is still open?
Scouted six Last Summer with a buddy, hard to even find a deer let alone a shooter buck.Looks like 35% cut in mule deer across the board from NDOW recommended in Big 6, 7 and 10
Can you link the podcast? The Gohunt guys did a podcast with a biologist in Utah and it was super interesting and a lot of it was counterintuitive. He mentioned lower buck to doe ratios and being a good thing. I believe NDOW has a management goal of 30 bucks to 100 doe and this might be much too high according to the biologist in the podcast that Gohunt did. Big Hunt guys episode 111. It’s worth a listen.
Ya I’m waiting to see this too. Usually it’s posted right before draw deadline.I’m trying to figure out why it’s so hard to see what they approved on paper.
link? I don't see them anywhereThey’re up now
It’s posted on FB on Nevada big game hunters. I can’t find it anywhere except on there. I’m not smart enough to post a link, sorrylink? I don't see them anywhere
