Yup, writing about it just destroyed any future political ambitions she may have had.
 
The interesting thing about this is that those on the right aren’t afraid to make fun/criticize those on “their” team. If this would have been someone on the left, well, you know.
 
Had a pretty good hunting dog, a springer, as a kid.

Chased neighbors cows, one into a fence.

He caught a bullet from the neighbor. That's life, cow is as important as dog.

Had a real good lab years later.

Blew his knee at 4. I didn't have kids so I had the money to get him a knee rebuild. Made it to 13. By then I had deafened him shooting over him. He started acting like Biden, wandering around, you could see panic in his eyes not knowing where he was. It was time.

But he was terrified of the vet, not surprising considering the knee.

I decided I wouldn't make him terrified going out.

So we rode out to the swamp, so he could smell it. I told him i loved him, and how much I appreciated him, then put a .22 through his head.

Not quite the same, but I'm not sure you get bonus points having a vet kill one vs you doing it.

I went hunting with a hound man chasing bobcats. The 4 dogs cut a track and the chase was on. One of the dogs got sidetracked and chased a deer. I wasn't expecting what happened next, but Krisit would have been proud. We came home with 3 dogs.

I meet a hounds man that had best trained hounds I have ever seen, they could run bear like no other, and he never leashed them, they would stay right with him until he commanded them to do what he wanted. I asked him how he got such good hounds, he said easy I take every free hound I can get and I have a carton of 22 shells.
He only had 8 hounds, and for a bear hunter that not very many.

Agreed, why in the hell would you tell anyone? Ranchers, necks and the broke are no strangers to this. However, it’s done her no favors.

In the universe I was born into, we took care of our animals…. Sounds like Noen does too. I respect that and I’m impressed shared it. Much of the reason our culture has evolved into what it is today is because people have been shamed into refusing to talk the talk and then walk the walk.

If we are ever going to get back to a society that looks reality in the eye, skins their own cats and doesn’t allow anyone one to shame them into hiding the lifestyle and it starts with have the integrity to talk the talk……. Good for Kristi Noen.
 
Now that i'm getting older, i like my dogs more than most people. Growing up in a ranching family, animals were just that, animals. When i was a kid we had a dog that decided to take a bite out of a porcupine. he had quills down his throat and all over his mouth. of course my dad wasn't about to take a dog to the vet so he told me to put him down, so i did. we butchered all our own meat so killing animals was just a part of life. it wasn't cruel, just life. most people these days didn't grow up that way and view animals as pets and death as cruel. you probably get in more trouble these days for animal curelty than killing a person. city people can't relate so unfortunately she will be judged harshly. in my eyes those city people are idiots. sad how the media manipulates stories.

Grew up on a wheat/cattle ranch. When dogs got old or couldn't be broke from killing chickens, chasing cows, sheep etc. they would be put to rest with a 22 bullet between the eyes.

Didn't have extra money to have them euthanized. Matter of fact I doubt I knew anybody that even knew what that word meant back then , let alone ever do it. You just took care of those things yourself. Like it or not it was commonplace.

4-H clubs and FFA were big back then and most kids raised sheep and steers to show at the livestock fairs. It was pretty normal to get attached to your animal as you spent a lot of time feeding , taming , grooming etc.. him for the the fair. Guess what happens to most of them? On the last day of the livestock shows I attended , the high bidder gets them and most went to the slaughter house immediately. The show winners always brought the most money and they were often the ones people got attached to the most.

The next juicy steak you have could of been someone's pet.!



Since leaving the ranch I've had to put a couple of my dogs down. I just couldn't make myself do it this last year though so I made the much dreaded trip to the Vet and had my Sadie dog put to sleep. I still miss her but she's right out back with a 6 point bull elk horn as a grave marker.

I don't have a problem with Kristi putting her dog down. I'm not to sure she got the best advice from her editor though.
 
KSL. News has an article on Christie, the comments after the article most of them make me sick. Utah is turning into a cali. And a Colorado liberal piece of shizz bang. All you rural people need to stay out of the big smoke (cities). They have gone insane.
 
and this is why nobody worth a crap wants to run for any office. i would have a bunch of crazy ex's come out of the woodwork making accusations and hitting me with paternity suits. i'd be an animal killer, homophobe, racist, conspiracy theorist, just for start.

Anything & everything she says or posts on her X account is an endless barrage of "puppy murderer" replys and memes from both left & right.

Going on the Sunday shows & deflecting about meeting Kim Kong-Un and the lies in her book didn't go so well. They ain't inviting her on their leftist news programs to help her sell books or help her political career. The fact that she doesn't know this is mind boggling. The only point of any politician writing an autobiography is to either: make money or further a political career. She has a really bad publicist, ghost writer & consultants surrounding her but she has horrible judgement.

How many times has Biden’s dog bit someone? According to secret service emails it seems at least 24 times the dog has bitten someone. Would all the pundits be as upset if “commander” was put down? Would people feel as strongly if it was a pit bull that bit a kid or killed the neighbors dog/chickens?

Likely not as there are a different set of standards in media. They are going after her because she is the enemy (conservative).

I've been 'bitten' by the five rescue dogs (mastiffs) I have fostered, and exclusively because I moved too quickly towards getting familiar with them. Each one had differing comfort levels. And each of them have turned out to be good companion/protection dogs. These instances were bite/holds and not a bite/chew.

It would be interesting to see circumstances of the bites experienced by the SS folks.

This was my point. If Biden put down commander because he had/has a habit of biting I’m sure the media would be spewing a completely different narrative.
