Mirrorless, Interchangeable Lens Full Frame or APS-C

Both are great. Both are expensive. I have a Canon Mirrorless with Canon L lenses. Wonderful performance. To me worth the $. Others may feel differently. Go to YouTube and watch some videos by Fox + Fir to see what Canon can do.

I have shot with Canon DSLR cameras and L lenses for years. I went with Canon because of the tried and true aspect of the company and the wide selection of lenses available. I see people shooting fantastic stuff with Sony but I am too invested in Canon equipment to ever make the switch. Just getting ready to invest in some mirrorless camera bodies. Either way you really can't go wrong.

Your story sounds familiar. I made the jump a few years back and have never looked back. Your existing lens collection will work perfectly.

So full frame, mirrorless over the smaller, lighter APS-C?
Is the EOS R3 body worth it?
While money is always a factor getting quality stuff is important to me.
Mainly shooting big game.
Sometimes at distance.

For wildlife photography I use an APS-C body as you get more reach when you factor in the crop and yes its lighter and smaller. For landscape photography I use a full frame body.

I've usually bought canon in the past for both video and still cameras. I did just buy a Nikon P1000 for long distance wildlife shots. Yeah it doesn't have the biggest sensor but it does have the biggest optical zoom 125x or 24mm-3000mm. 250x digital zoom. I plan to get a mirrorless camera next and it will more than likely be a canon.
