Got lucky and actually watched this buck shed. Saw him on my hike in holding one antler. Looked but never found the side he already dropped. On the way out I saw him again, watched him walk into a clearing and shake his shed right off! Never seen anything like that. I’ve been doing more glassing and finding bucks I’d like to spend time looking for in the coming weeks. Almost everything seems to be still holding in central CA

I saw a buck in my yard about a week ago that had recently dropped but hunting sheds here is near impossible the brush is so thick.

Wife and I have been going a little stir crazy with the new baby so we decided to see if he likes shed hunting. Went for a short walk and struck gold!

I swear he pointed a said “shed!” Pretty impressive for a 7 week old

Very nice sheds, Brock. Over the years I have found a few good ones out towards Pittville while hunting quail, but my dogs pay more attention to them more than I do and my pile only seems to shrink.
