This seems to be legit. East Texas PUBLIC land hunt by 14 yr old girl. Reports that this buck was seen last year as well. It’s possible this could have been an escapee from a private deer farm but hope it’s not. Amazing deer

They should be able to rule out a deer farm deer. If it is, it should have a tattoo inside the ear.

I believe you need a badge from the Department of Defense to hunt there. They list the requirements on their website.

In the past I hunted a closed base in East Texas with a contractor. His badge allowed me to hunt as his guest.

A high fenced protein fed buck will go back to its natural state when off the protein in the wild. If that Buck was seen the year before in that forest she just killed herself a real monster Whitetail. Congrats young lady!

I'm not saying that deer was fed but he sure had access to some much better than average groceries. Wild or man made.

The owner of the sawmill I worked at owns a sawmill in Nacogdoches Texas, so they must have some timber land around there. I turned down an offer to move there to work.
