“That was the most exhilarating experience for me” Alex said after finished with his hunt. Called many bulls in through the trees for Alex, to the point where he was nervous one evening he had 3 bulls all within 30 yds around him in the trees just bugling like crazy. Hunting these things is always a blessing for me and it’s rewarding when all the hard work comes out successful!
Although not a giant, Alex couldn’t hold back the tears after puttin this guy down on our last planned day out there. Alex finished a total of 11 days, 8 solo, and 3 with me to call for him and we finally got it done. Filled the freezer and his first bull is down! I told him I think he should shoulder mount as it’s a sentimental experience for him and he put it down with a stick and string which is a lot to be able to do as everyone knows!
Called this bull in for a 20 yard frontal shot, poured blood for about 200 yds. Saw a big herd bull but he was on the run herding his cows through the trees all morning.. great fun! Bull went down 20 yards from nearest road! Good work Alex!
