In January I was able to finally kill a buck with my bow, clean pass through the heart. I recovered my arrow but somehow my broadhead came off in the snow and I wasn’t able to recover it.
Fast forward to September and I found myself with an archery tag in my pocket and that same arrow in my quiver with a new broadhead on it. After 7 days of hunting, the last 5 being solo, I finally got that same arrow in another buck. Pretty good year so far.
Had a stud of a buck in the area but could never turn him up. Saw him on my trail camera the week before the hunt and some elk hunters told me they saw him on 9/4. Although this buck wasn’t my target, I’m more than pleased with him. Good luck to you all.
